28 year old Tres – has his say!

A note from his owner Evy: I cannot thank Karen enough for the peace of mind and comfort her visit and chat with TRES has brought us all. He is dearest to my heart of all creatures here, human and non human alike.I have learned things from him about being civil and kind and understanding and patient that no Person could have ever taught me. His comfort and peace are of the highest level of importance for all the remainder of his days.Karen gave that to him, she helped him to see a path for all the hurt and negativity to leave and allow all the good he felt now to fill those hollow places. he isn't as stiff-even when it dipped to 38 he did not require pain meds(beyond his MSM) and has remained perky and frisky and alert. I am eternally grateful. I can now let go with comfort when that day finally comes knowing he feels love and respect and has had his dignity returned to him!! THANK YOU KAREN!!!
SESSION tid bits: 28 year old Tres - eyes wide open! I was humbled & honored meet & work with him. Rescue family out bid the kill buyer to save this noble gentleman last July! Asked if he liked his name, he informed me it is "TRES" and gave me the spelling and NOT "TREY" as on his Coggins paper, (I had no idea). Tres' eyes were 1/2 closed when we began his session in early March, he'd been having more aches, trouble moving & depression during the cold weather, his owner feared the worst - when I spoke with Tres, crossing the Rainbow Bridge was not on his radar! Tres was carrying emotions & resentment about being lied to during his career as a "for hire trail/beach" horse & the care he would receive and was also concerned another horse would 'take over' at his new home. Tres was skin & bones when saved and is one handsome fellow now! Such a gentleman even after all he's been through - what a horse! And he still desires to ride a little - bareback now & when he feels like it. Tres balanced his musculo-skeletal system & digestive system & when we were finished, he was bright eyed - his owner says he's still doing very well, moving much better & is very upbeat.
